Clayton L. Carter is the President of CLCPE, inc. Clay graduated form the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Civil Engineering. He has been licensed as a Structural Engineer in Colorado since 1976 and has been a licensed Building Design / Structural Engineer in West Virginia since 1985. He is also licensed in the states of Virginia, Marland and Pennsylvania. He has completed 21 vocational credits from the West Virginia Institute of Technology and continues to further his education today. Clay has been in business for 16 years. He is also a master carpenter having built his own house and several others. |

D'Arcy Carter is our office manager in charge of ordering materials, scheduling, sales, as well as customer and employee relations. D'Arcy is Clay's son and has been around construction his whole life. He has worked in Clays office for five years. On big jobs he often is the site manager. D'Arcy has great organizational skills that have proved to save the customer time and money. D'Arcy also has no problem with any kind of physical labor and is always a great asset on the job site. |
Pat Sutton is our lead carpenter. He has been in the construction business for over twenty years. He has worked for several different construction companies over the years in all aspects of the building process. He has a great eye for detail and has proved to be a great asset to the company in all phases of the design build process. |

Jeff Davis is a Journeyman Electrician with 8 years of electrical experince and a certified Master Plumber. He works for us part time because of his love for creating Energy Efficient Houses. Jeff has brought lots of great ideas to CLCPE and he is an indespensible part of our team. He is currently also employed as a vocational instructor at Marion County adult and community education. Jeff graduated from Glenville with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and is currently working torward a Masters degree in Vocational Education. |
